Right to Rent Kicks off

Today is the day that the government is asking for landlords to help with their immigration checks. Landlords are now responsible to ensure that all tenants living in their properties can legally reside in the UK. More on that here at our sister site online lettings agent Right to Rent

Explosion of high end flats across London

A prime London estate agent has released research showing that the price of new build apartments has risen 341 per cent in less than a decade, from £511,000 in 2009 to £2.25m today. It also says there are some 4,000 apartments of this type across London - over a quarter of which are 'five star' units offering hotel-style luxury lifestyle services such as concierges.

There are now 1,083 five-star rated apartments in London with a combined value of over £2.4 billion, 81 per cent of all five-star apartments scheduled for completion in the near future are in Fitzrovia or Marylebone

NAEA claim house supply has halved

SellMyHome averages 101% of asking price in January 2016

The figures are in for January and we averaged 101% of asking price for all properties that went under offer in 2016. Not bad when they high street is averaging 95% according to data from Hometrack.
