Hit the HighStreet!

This year the MyHomeGroup team has stepped out of our buzzing London office to join St Hugh’s Summer Fayre. Taking with us our savvy online estate knowledge and charismatic team members to meet the students, parents, and teachers. Although summer fayres are all about fun and games, they are after all, a school event, and school is for learning. We arrived at St Hugh’s with high spirits, games and prizes, and plenty of fun facts about the disruptive world of online estate agents.

Setting up the booth is quick and easy when you have a talented team like ours! We were up and running in no time. Sweet treats, games, and the raffle ticket prizes on display had our booth lively with commotion and interest. While the kids enjoyed our complementary SellMyHome and RentMyHome cupcakes, parents and teachers were pleasantly surprised to hear about the 5 star quality services we provide; including property sales for a flat fee, negotiation and completion management packages, a marketing bundle that is sure to get your property at the top of everyone’s wish list.

We introduced the kids to the game “Hit the HighStreet!” – the game involved throwing a sopping wet sponge into the face of the person willing to pose as “Mr.Highstreet Agent”, who’s known for taking your hard earned money! Some children weren’t too keen to get a soaking sponge to the face, understandably, so some brave parents decided to step in and see how good their children’s’ aim was. This decision was inevitably regrettable for some parents, as running up with a drenched sponge right into their face was apparently as fun as (if not more than) throwing them for some kids!

The summer fayre drew to an end after we announced the raffle winners. While packing things up, a little boy came to us and asked if we’d be back next year with more games – oh yes, of course! In the next couple of months on a sunny day, you may even find us spreading the words about our services at Parsons Green, and you’ll get a chance to play the “Hit the HighStreet!” game too!
