On Saturday we are going to be heading over to Clapham Common to eat our bodyweight at Foodies Festival. The festival is running all weekend from 24th – 26th July, and will host celebrity chefs, a Wine and Champagne Theatre, Craft Beer Theatre, as well as an artisan producers market, BBQ arena, cooking school and a whole host of pop-up restaurants.
Foodies is the largest food and drink festival in the UK, with ten summer festivals being run across Alexandra Palace, Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol, Clapham Common, Edinburgh, Harrogate, Oxford, Syon Park and Tatton Park between the start of May until mid-December.
This weekend's festivities promises to be educational as well as delicious, with cocktail masterclasses and kids' cooking lessons alongside classes in oyster shucking, mushroom foraging and beekeeping. If they all sound too adventurous, there are also masterclasses in matching foods with the best craft beers from brewers local to the area.
Tickets are £25 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or £15 a day for adults.
