Any Londoner or visitor to the capital knows that cruising up the Thames looking at all the sights is informative but ultimately a little too pedestrian for those thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies. But it needn't be because the Thames RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) Experience takes you on the same sightseeing tour but with a little more haste.
Leaving from a number of locations dotted through London's principal waterway and offering a variety of different tours; ranging from a brisk 20 minutes right up to a full-throttle 75 minute cruise along the river, the Thames RIB Experience boasts the largest and most powerful engines on the river. Two 740 Horse power, V8 twin engines will propel you via the likes of The Thames Barrier, the O2, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Canary Wharf and countless other London landmarks. All the boats are equipped with state-of-the-art PA systems so you'll still be privy to those all important factoids. And just in case you were worried that listening to someone talk about the history of the city whilst lithely slicing through the water was a little too staid, they blast out the obligatory James Bond music to complete the full high-octane experience.
Each boat holds 12 people and if you are lucky you might just be sat alongside a couple of celebrities as the likes of Ant and Dec, Theo Walcott, Kill Bill star Uma Thurman, England cricket legend Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff and Dermot O'Leary have all hopped aboard the RIB Experience.
The Thames RIB Experience offers a number of difference packages aboard their fleet of five boats. For more information follow the link below or follow them on Twitter.
